ELECTION of OFFICERS: 2008

A Constitutional amendment passed IN 2007 dictates a change in Elections. No longer will all four officers be up for election every calendar year. Only two will be elected each year which provides better continuity.

UP FOR ELECTION:
Office of the President
Incumbent PRESIDENT Heikki Penttila
Uncontested-no new nominations presented at November's meeting.
 Presently in a two year term until December 31, 2008. Then a two year term, beginning January 1, 2009, ending December 31, 2010. President's election years: 08, 10, 12, 14, etc.

RE-ELECTED in 2007


VICE PRESIDENT Pat Spivak

Presently a two year term until December 31, 2009. Then a two year term until December 31, 2011. Vice President's election years: 11, 13, 15, etc.

UP FOR ELECTION:
Office of the Treasurer TREASURER Sue Troutman
Uncontested-no new nominations presented at November's meeting.

 Presently in a two year term until December 31, 2008. Then a two year term, beginning January 1, 2009, ending December 31, 2010. Treasurer's election years: 08, 10, 12, 14, etc. same as the President's.

RE-ELECTED in 2007

SECRETARY Laura Malkamäki

Presently in a two year term until December 31, 2009. Then a two year term until December 31, 2009. Secretary's election years: 11, 13, 15, etc. same as the Vice President's.
